My Comment: Well here's the bad guy from the first series of MMPPP. I won't spoil anything for those who don't know, but I wanted to make a wallpaper for him. Not only is he a bad-boy, he's hot too. Lol. I adore him. But anyway! The wallpaper is pretty simple, but I thought a dark wallie would suit him anyway. My Comment: Well here is yet another wallpaper for MMPPP, lol. I think I'm on a role with them. Maybe, maybe not. We'll just see how many I can pull out from my magic hat. Yay!
This wallpaper features the six princesses with their lovely tiaras atop their heads. The backgrounds has their dedicated color near them, but they aren't all perfectly even, sadly, just because I don't think they could be with the way the girls are posed with consideration to each other. Anyway, I gave it a rather 'pretty' theme with stars of their colors and regular white stars as well as the misty stuff and just nice colorin' balance with the background and the girls. At least that's what I tried to do. It came out nicely, if I do say so. Lol. Hopefully you'll all like it too. Comments Welcome. BEST VIEWING 1280x1204

My Comment: Well I'm a big fan of this series, anime and manga both. A long time ago I made a single wallpaper for MMPPP, but it wasn't all that grand and a little bit of a disappointment. But! I've got my skills up since then I came around to making this wallpaper. I know that it's a big faned couple and there have been lots of wallpapers out there with the two of them. I can only hope I did them justice to some extent.
When I started the background...I had no idea what I was going to do. Oh sure I knew there would be stars, a darkish off-set, and a slight night/nature kind of thing...but I had no clue where to begin. So I just started with a regular black to blue to white background and went from there. Surprisingly, I didn't do all THAT much, but the effect that resulted...well *I* like it, lol. Maybe yall will too.
As for the name...I know the dance ACTUALLY does take place (it's NOT a dream), but I felt the name appropriate because 1. Kaito hadn't been sure if it was or wasn't a dream and 2. it has a dream-like feel to the wallpaper...or at least a fantasy feel. So I felt "Dance the Dream" somewhat perfect for the wallpaper. *shrug* Hehe. Comments Welcomed.

My Comment: Ok, I need to address the reasoning behind the name. I mean no offense to Hanon...but ya can't deny she does act like the "diva" of the group. She's ready for stardom any day. Thus, I fit the wallpaper to the personality I've noticed of her. You've got the stars, the spot light (kinda), the music notes, the beautiful lyrics (that aren't ACTUALLY lyrics...but they're pretty regardless), the blue and purple, and just the right fit for her in that pose. So I worked with it, took the background colors right off her, used them for the background and the random (but slightly thought out) brushes of different things that FIT Hanon. I was sceptical at first whether I'd be able to pull this off...it was so dull in the beginning and I didn't know where I was going to take the wallpaper. But I thought I'd just try different brushes and see how it all fit and came together (that's what the undo button is for *wink*). So, I'm now able to present: Diva Hanon! Enjoy! Comments Welcomed.

My Comment: Well this wallpaper was rather fun to make. I knew I wanted to make it using the image of her in her singing form because she looked pretty cute, lol. Then I thought it'd be interesting to put her mermaid form transparentish in the background in the left open space. From there I just played with effects and brushes and such to create Coco's yellow-ness as well as show her music and make it a little more clear that she does SING, for those who don't watch or ready MMPPP, lol. Her role isn't all that big, but she's fun and cute. Enjoy! BEST VIEWING: 1600x1200

My Comment: I'm actually surprised at the outcome of this wallpaper. I took the seven different images of the princesses, I came up with their "positions" and then went from there. Luchia had to be in the center since the series BASICALLY revolves around her. Hanon and Lina had to be her right and left hands because they're her best friends, and always with her. The other four were thrown to the back...mostly because they were tall rather than wide and so the back suited them much better. Although Hanon and Lina are smaller than the rest, they aren't as transparent as the other four Mermaid Princesses. To help get a desired effect of who was important (to the series, not personally), I made sure the back was transparent enough to the background to notice, but not enough to take away from them entirely or to let them become lost in the sparkling stars.
Luchia, of course, was front and center with a soft glow around her to make her stand out. It wasn't in attempt to lessen the others, but to simply follow the series. I made sure the background was in some way a blue-ish type and went from there. I added a cloud-mist kind of effect, to blend, push, and pull the characters to and from the background. The mist-ish stuff helps to support Lina and Hanon, while blending them and the other four mermaids into and apart of the background. Only Luchia lacks the mist, where it stays firmly behind her but giving her also a soft cushion.
No clue what has gotten into me lately with these MMPPP wallpapers, but I'm glad. I like the anime and manga and I feel some satisfaction from the turnout of the wallpapers. Hope everyone else enjoys as well.

The reason it's so...up-close to her face is that the original scan was too narrow and had words so I couldn't put it on a background...and even if I had stretched it, it woulda looked bad. I hope yall like it...Enjoy! it took me awhile to get this done....more like an hour at most...lol...But still. It's one of my more favorite animes and mangas. I hope you'll like it or check into it sometime!
