Welcome to the Wallpapers page of the Shrine. Although there isn't a hell of a lot right now, ya never know when I'll be adding more and more. Of course, if that happens, you'll know because it'll be in the Updates of the main branch of Manga Connections. Until then, feel free to save my wallpapers for your own personal use. This comment will stand for all, not just one. So it'll be a general type of comment. Firstly, there are six wallpapers in the "Dream Date Wallpaper Series" and three are male and three are female. Pretty even split if ya ask me. Haha. All the characters were vectored by LilLaoRyo704[Dot]Minitokyo.Net/EDD/MR and each wallpaper holds credits for LilLaoRyo. Because she'd vectored them all, I got the idea to make matching wallpapers. Now, this can be looked at as me being lazy, but I assure you it isn't. I wanted to make a series of matching wallpapers (so that you can pick ya favorite character but still get the same wallpaper basically) and I'll eventually get around to giving them each their own dedicated wallpaper as well.

So anyway. I originally came up with the idea when I saw Yzak. I knew that because of the series, making a background of stars and such would match the theme the anime presented, and so I instantly had my point of view I wanted the wallpaper to take. But then I had to stop and think...it's just too boring if I throw Yzak in front of a star-type background. Where's the magic in that? To be honest, it can even be considered a little dull. *GASP* I know! So while in class, I came up with the idea to put a balcony behind the characters and so its kind of like they're standing with the night sky behind them. A little better. So THEN I had to go and try to find the lovely perfect balcony: needed to be nice and little fancy. So I found one, then went and vectored it myself at school during class. Haha. Took me three days doin' it only during my first period, but I got it done. However, I realized that the balcony works fine, but I can't put the whole thing there, with the floor and everything. Because all the vectored characters' are cut off at their legs, it'd look rather off to have some floor space behind them. It CAN be seen as the balcony is farther away, but it just looked better right up close.
