My Comment: This was my first creation using Photoshop only! Not to mention it's of one of my favorite series and guys of all time, Conan! Ah...it makes me happy just thinking about it...Anyway! I originally cut out Conan from a scan I found...was it minitokyo? I'm not really sure. But I found the scan...I woulda taken Kaito Kid outta it too, but there was just too much on top of him to cut out and/or recreate missings. So I only took Conan and then started playing aorund with the changing colors and the rendering difference clouds and stuff like that...the lighting and darkening...and the sponge and stuff. I came up with Conan and the background behind him. Than I thought, since the original scan is just SO huge, I'd only take it down a little bit, and put his face/head and stuff transparent into the background, making it not the main focus, but reinforcing the general concept of "That Look"...which fans should be able to tell is his "thinking" or "ive got you in my sights" look. Lol. Either way, enjoy!

YAY! Another wallpaper for Detective Conan! ^-^ Heehee. I made it rather recently...but I just kept having so much trouble with it, ugh! I wanted the background behind Conan to be dark...but it just kept coming out bright or in a shade of blue I wasn't particularly fond of. So I tried making it extra dark, which only made it worse. I tried just burning it...but that burned the sunburst behind Conan too. I kept trying over and over to get the shading and coloring right! Finally I thought I'd play around with it and make the background LIGHT. Much to my surprise, it worked. o_o I couldn't believe how nice it looked and how easily Conan stood out. Before, the background was overtaking Conan and he didn't feel like the main attraction in the wallpaper...but after lightening the background, the colors came out beautiful, and you could see a lot of different shades, too. Then to top it off, Conan now stands out with it light in the background. HURRAY! xD
Though I'm a little worried about the wallpaper's sunbursts...jpg often blurs stuff...and even though I tried to avoid it, ya can't always. So I can only hope it turned out alright. 1600x1200 is probably the best viewing, too.
Anyway. I hope everyone likes it; it's only my second wallpaper from Detective Conan. I'll make more in the future (I think) so ya can look forward to those too. ^-^ Scan found at Minitokyo, thanks.

My Comment: This wallpaper originated from nothing. I wasn't even planning it, but then I found this great picture of Conan CLICK HERE and I couldn't help the desire of making a wallpaper out of it stir me. What else could I do but blow up the image then work hard to make it presentable at that size. I was aiming more for taking the "manga" look out of it and replacing that with an "anime" look. I know the lines aren't flawless, but I thought it was a job well done, seeing as I was given nothing but such a tiny picture, heehee. ENJOY.
